Education & Training
At Streetz Ahead, we believe education is a key cornerstone for building brighter futures. We are committed to supporting every young person to re-engage with learning, develop essential life skills, and gain recognised qualifications that will help them thrive as they move towards independence.
Our dedicated Education Lead and Transition & Move-On Lead work closely with each young person to create personalised learning pathways that match their interests, abilities, and goals.
Independent Living Skills (ILS) Course
An in-house course designed to build independence, evidencing achievements with certified qualifications.
Young people begin the ILS course shortly after their 17th birthday. The course prepares them for adult life by developing practical skills and confidence.
Upon completion, young people gain 10 Level 2 AQA UAS Certificates.

This course can also help young people secure banding in the council housing process (policies vary by Local Authority — we recommend checking with your LA).
